Stone old walls are lovingly holding up this wonderfully scented wisteria. This is a lavender loverly!!!
Or in another part of the garden, little lavender and purple flowers carpeting the ground below a stone statue.

Or flowers in beautiful terracotta and stone pots lining the breezeway. These lavender pretties are quite lovely up against the yellow stucco home.

Or a simple lavender pillow on the gray linen wrapped chairs on the Veranda. Again the lavender and grays mixed together. I love it!

Or my new chateau with the lavender flowers flanking the grounds and moat. lol. A girl can dream. Some how I need to get a lavender room. So the question is... a spare bedroom or in a garden? What do you think?
I would love to hear you input,

I love all the pictures esp. the first one with the wisteria on the wall, and the sheep in the 7th. I have a soft spot for sheep grazing in a beautiful field.
Hi Gina~
Thanks for the comment, Wisteria is so pretty and adds such a lovely fragrance to the garden.:)
I have always had a love for lavender, even more so after living in France! It refreshes my soul and helps me hold on when times get tough. This past summer I laminated a photo from a magazine of a French lavender field and it went with me, everywhere!
There is something about wild lavender growing outside. Just imagine spending a long summer day, enjoying the sweet, calming fragrance!
But then again, you can enjoy it year round indoors!
Beautiful photos! The last one is PERFECT for a painting... I stole it... I hope you don't mind!
Thank you for comin gto my party today! I do hope you ENJOYED yourself!
Fifi
Hi Kelli~ I love how you saved a photo of the lavender fields from France what a lovely reminder of your time there.
Oh my Gosh Fifi, I had the best time at your party. Decided to stay in Paris for one more day. I can not wait to see your painting of the chateau!!!
DEAR MISS KRIS,
I LOVE ALL OF YOUR LAVENDER PICTURES IN THIS POST AND THE NEXT ONE. MY BEDROOM IS DONE IN LAVENDER AND WHITE. I HAVE ANGELS AND A BORDER THAT IS LAVENDER ROSES WITH MUTED WHITE BACKGROUND WITH DISTRESSED GOLD SWIRLS.
I MADE A HUGE WREATH WITH FLOWERS THAT HANGS OVER THE HEAD BOARD.
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A COPY OF THE PICTURE OF THE GIRL THAT HAS THE LAVENDER FLOWERS AROUND HER.I WOULD LIKE TO USE HER ON MY BLOG WITH A POEM. I HAVE LOTS OF STATUARY OUTSIDE AND INSIDE....I HAVE A WROUGHT IRON BIRD BATH IN MY GUEST BEDROOM THAT HOLDS CANDLES.
YOU ARE TRULY AN INSPIRATION.
BLESSINGS
debbie
